November 4th, 2011

If you happen to be a tourist in New York City on the eve of Halloween then there is no better place to enjoy the night than on the streets of New York along with thousands of New Yorkers dressed as zombies, vampires and whatever unique costumes you can imagine, and participate in the annual Village Halloween Parade. This is the nation’s biggest public Halloween celebration and has become an annual tradition for every true New Yorker and tourist alike.

There is probably no other Halloween celebration that is more impressive than this two hour parade that starts from Sixth Avenue at Spring Street, and stretches north along Sixth Avenue up to the 23rd Street. According to New York Village Halloween Parade official page almost 50,000 people attend this Halloween. The only requirement to participate in this Halloween parade is to be in costume and march the streets with dancers of different styles and form, gigantic puppets, musicians from all around the world and artists with extraordinary imagination. Be sure to come in your best, wackiest and most unique costumes to get a shot at winning the most coveted Best Costume Award.

If you are a true blue New Yorker then you may well be attending the Village Halloween Parade and the chances are you will be disguised as an action superhero more fantastic than last year’s vampire costume. If you are not from New York then there is no better time to travel to New York than this Halloween and attend this must see and must experience event that you should should certainly experience at least once. I have to work on my zombie costume so I guess I’ll see you guys on the streets. You will recognize me as the sexiest zombie you’ve ever seen. Happy Halloween!

Lombok, the Island of leisure, adventure, and an ideal place for meeting and convention.

November 4th, 2011

Lombok Island is an ideal place for a family vacation, adventure holiday, leisure tour, honeymoon trip, incentive tour and for meeting and convention packages. The people are so warm and friendly. Wherever the travelers go they will find the people smile and say, “Halo tourist, how are you and where are you going”? For western culture, asking where you are going is really a private question. In Lombok, however it is a symbol of frienliness and friendship.

Generally, the weather in Lombok does not really differ from other islands in Indonesia. Mainly there are two main seasons, the rainy and dry seasons. The rainy season starts in September and ends on February. The rest of the months are the dry season. During the rainy season, the air humidity is a bit higher, which makes the temperature hotter. The best and the most wonderful time for traveling around Lombok is in the dry season, from March to September.

Private villas, business class hotels, resort hotels, and backpackers’ class hotels are available in every tourist area.

Lombok can be reached by public economy class ferry and by air conditioned fast boat from Bali and by flights from many major cities in Indonesia and from some big world-wide cities as since October 1st 2011 an International airport, BIL (Bandara International Lombok) or Lombok International Airport has been officially opened and ready to serve all visitors.
